MEF Petroleum was established on the 2nd of January, 2012 with one vision and that is to create a global impact on the quality and affordability of products in the gas and oil industry. The company has stabilized on many fronts within the industry as well as social engagement and brand recognition.
Founded by a group of Business and Petroleum experts in South Africa and Zambia, the company has over the years grown with branches throughout the world providing an end to end solution from buying and selling of various products through bulk petroleum supply systems (BPSS).
MEF Petroleum Global Pty Limited or MEF Petroleum as we commonly know it has its global headquarters in Sandton City, Johannesburg in the Republic Of South Africa.
The company has a balanced global footprint in all 7 continents through established regional head offices, branch offices, channel partners and agencies who are available to provide you with timely service in Petroleum, Mining and Mineral Trading.
Alongside it highly ambitious business propositions, MEF Petroleum has deep passion for corporate social responsibility both to our host communities at large. The corner of Alice Lane and 5th Street lies the exclusive Alice Lane Precinct providing premium specialised shopping and lifestyle options as well as executive corporate space, right in the heart of Sandton.
MEF Petroleum Global under the flagship of the MEF Group of Companies has since established its global headquarters at the prestigious 11 Alice Lane building, in Sandton City, Johannesburg in the Republic of South Africa.
Building Number 11 Alice Lane houses the MEF Group and all its pinnacle subsidiaries totaling 28/27 companies running across engineering, health, medicine, agriculture, aerospace, railway, transport and logistics, banking, finance, commodities, education, insurance, hospitality, telecommunications, security, social development, gas and oil, mining, education, corporate advisory and much more. Among these companies are MEF Petroleum Global, MEF University, MEF Investment Fund, MEF Agri Business, MEF Fertilizers, MJ Wireless Internet, Manjazi Engineering, MEF Banking Corporation, MEF Transport and Logistics and MEF VIP Security to name some.
Safety & Transportation
At MEF Petroleum Global, we always ensure that all trucks and company vehicles go through a full safety and roadworthy test before being driven out of the company premises. All drivers are instructed to adhere to all speed limits and traffic instruction according the vehicles that are being driven. A separate company policy has also been put in place as well as in house training and compliance courses are complete before our staff is given driving positions and privileges.
All transporters and fuel tankers are always under security escort and 24/7 satellite monitoring. We strongly believe that our clients’ success is our success. A high standard of professionalism is always maintained during all interactions with the company. Our Management Team

MEF Petroleum Global is run by a well skilled management team that has a diverse range of qualifications and experience according to their positions and departments.
Our team has more than 26 years of experience in the petroleum industry, spread out in multiple sectors as well as international experience in Mozambique, South Africa, Angola, Congo DR, Nigeria, The Middle East and Asia.
Over the years, the company has created an intense employment process to ensure that the staff of at our company not only adds value to our business but also to our customers.
The management team has worked and studied in various sectors such as import and export, transportation, mining and mineral trading, chemical engineering, aviation and marine fuel systems and technologies, alliance refining, sales and marketing and not forgetting customer care services to ensure that our clients remain central in all business relations.
Although it took many years to build this team, their international experience together with business administration roots has taken the company to greater heights and as long as the brand continues to grow, so will the team at MEF Petroleum
